Fermentation has been used for centuries to help preserve food and make some foods easier to digest. Now, fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi are part of the wonderful category of “pro-biotic foods” that feed your gut for holistic health.
In this class, you will learn some of the history behind fermented foods as well as some of the numerous health benefits of introducing more pro-biotic foods into your diet.
After getting excited about eating all these delicious ferments, participants will get to make some sauerkraut themselves with just a few simple ingredients as well as try some ferments already ready to eat.
