Fermentation 101: Kombucha and Sauerkraut

Fermentation has been used for centuries to help preserve food and make some foods easier to digest. Most commercial offerings are loaded with unwanted chemicals and corn syrup. In this workshop you will learn some of the history behind fermented foods as well as the numerous health benefits of introducing more probiotic foods into your diet. After getting excited about eating all these delicious ferments, participants will get learn via an interactive kombucha and kraut making demo and leave with a starter kombucha kit w/ kraut on the side.
